About Me

Hi — I’m Robin!

My initial memories of Art crossing the line from creativity to therapeutic lie in my elementary years. As the oldest of three sisters, in a home experiencing shifts, there was always an obstacle to overcome.

I recall stick figures and small childish drawings of horses and trees in a patterned journal our parents purchased from Guatemala. I would pass the journal back and forth between the crack of the wall and bunk-bed to my sister up above. Life was always noisy - but artistically flowing conversations post lights out brought peace and connection.

As I became a teenager I recall perching myself beside the sliding glass door in my childhood home with just a stack of printer paper and a battered marker — writing, a new form of art. “Thrive Thrive Thrive…” “Endure Endure Endure…” Repeatedly until the curves seamlessly wove together.

I often dreamt that one day the illustrations might become something meaningful or better yet the name of my future business. The letters and spelling, themselves — became a vast escape.

Kind Words

“Love love love this place. Robin is the director here and she makes this place alive and exciting for the kids the last two times we’ve come. My son is 4 and would live here if he could lol…. much more than a paid experience, And separate snacks always!”

  • Don’t think. Thinking is the enemy of creativity. You can’t try to do things. You simply must do things.
